Activity to Support Coal Briquettes Delivery
ROHM Korea Corporation (R/Korea), a ROHM Group's production base in Korea, works twice a year as a member of the public office and the Green Business Council participating to deliver briquettes to the local people to support their lives.
The public office takes the initiative of this activity to help people with physical disabilities who are not able to get briquettes themselves.
Cleaning Up the River Around the Company
R/Korea signed an agreement with city government to improve the living environment and make it a better place to live for local residents by cleaning river nearby the company every year since 2011. In 2017, R/Korea will keep on participating in this kind of activity to contribute to protect our earth environment and create a better living place for people.
Supporting Children's Nursing Homes
R/Korea regularly donates to support children living in children's nursing homes in the area. This activity has been continued for 33 years, which started in 1987 with the idea that "supporting the healthy growth and children’s independence is an important role as a corporate citizen,".
R/Korea will continue this activity to realize the relieving living environment for the children.
Humanitarian assistance to the Korean Red Cross Society
Since 1985, R/Korea has donated donations to the Korean Red Cross Society to support people suffering from disasters and hunger.
This activity has been ongoing for 35 years in R/Korea as important social contribution activity.
