ROHM Kyoto Technology Center illuminated in pink as a part of 2020 Kyoto Pink Ribbon Campaign
As part of 2020's Pink Ribbon Campaign held in Kyoto, ROHM Kyoto Technology center located in front of Kyoto station was illuminated in pink on September 26th and 27th by green energy.
Moreover, ROHM is encouraging female employees to undergo breast cancer screening. In fiscal 2019, we have added a screening plan for cervical cancer and breast cancer, which are diseases peculiar to women, to the company's regular health checkups with the aim of creating a workplace where all employees can continue to work in good health. As a result, the cancer screening rate of the subjects increased from 58% in 2018 to 95% in 2019.
These kind of efforts was highly recognized, and has been certified as a "White 500 Companies" (Top 500 Companies) sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council for the third consecutive year since 2018.
"White 500 Companies" was established in 2017 to recognize corporations practicing good health management.
As one of the important management issues, we will continue to examine and conduct effective methods to improve employee's well-being and work-life balance , to realize healthy society as corporate citizens.
