ROHM Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto, Japan) has been awarded a Gold rating in the EcoVadis 2022 sustainability ranking. The Gold rating is awarded to the top 5% of companies assessed.

EcoVadis is an international organization that provides sustainability assessment, and which was established in 2007 to promote sustainability in global supply chains. It assesses 100,000 companies operating in 175 countries across 200 industries in four fields: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, with four possible levels: Platinum (top 1%), Gold (top 5%), Silver (top 25%), and Bronze (top 50%). With the growing importance of ESG, the EcoVadis assessment results are referred to by many global companies as an essential criterion for supplier selection.

This year, ROHM's efforts to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and its long-standing efforts to promote greening in Japan and overseas were recognized, and the company received the highest rating of "Outstanding" in the Environment field. ROHM also received an "Advanced" rating in the fields of Labor and Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement, placing the company in the top 5% of the companies assessed.

Encouraged by the result, ROHM will continue promoting CSR activities and addressing social issues in order to achieve a sustainable society and become a company that meets the expectations of its stakeholders.
