ROHM received the 2022 Excellent Company Promoting Cancer Control Award

On February 28, 2023, ROHM Co., Ltd. was recognized as an "2022 Excellent Company Promoting Cancer Control" in the "Excellent Company Promoting Cancer Control Award Program" under the national project "Corporate Action to Promote Cancer Control" sponsored by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan.
The "Excellent Company Promoting Cancer Control" is a national project promoted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, which aims to increase the cancer screening rates and balance work and cancer by encouraging companies to take the lead in promoting the importance of "cancer screening" as part of the "Corporate Action to Promote Cancer Control. Promotion partner companies and organizations that meet any one of the following conditions are recognized as Excellent Companies Promoting Cancer Control.

- Respond to cancer screening rate survey for three consecutive years
- Recommendation of the e-learning provided by Corporate Action to employees
- Cancer education for employees
- Participation in several seminars organized by the Corporate Consortium

ROHM received the award for the first time in recognition of the company's efforts to share information about cancer within the company, provide cancer education, and implement various initiatives.
